Preceded in Death by parents James and Elizabeth Nance; 3 husbands, Donald D. Brush, Arthur C. Barr and Charles W. Shirey, 13 Brothers and Sisters; Dramma, Alice, Harold, Ham, George, John, Lela, Jim, Coy, Gladys, Mary, Robert and Daisy; one son, Richard Wesley Brush and grandson Ricky L. Brush.

She is survived by one Son, Reggie (Gayle) Brush, Daughter-in-Law, Greta Brush, Grandchildren, Catherine (Chad) McLin, Matt Brush, Rebecca Reisinger, Sandy (Kevin) Burdette, Don Brush and Darlene Price, 6 great grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

She was a life long member of the American Legion. She lived in Columbus and surrounding areas for more than 55 years. After her husband passed away, she decided to move back to Indiana to be near her family, who will truly miss her presence in their lives. She had an eye for decorating and loved flamboyant colors. She lived a very full life up until the last year. Everyone loved Grandma Katie, Katie Bug, Grammy and Grandma. She was loved by all she came into contact with, she had spunk and a spark for life. Special thanks to Exceptional Living Center of Brazil, Dr. Craig Johnson and Charlie and the staff at Kindred Hospice for treating her like a member of their family.

Until she moved, she was a member of the Lutheran Church in Ohio and most recently the Benwood Mt. Lebanon Church in Brazil Indiana.

Graveside Services will be conducted by SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST at Glen Rest Memorial Park in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11AM.
