Alfred T Johnson

Alfred T. "Shorty" Johnson III, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at home. Shorty was born on June 17, 1963 in Urbancrest, Ohio to Alfred T. "Pete" Johnson II and Barbara E. Turner Johnson. Shorty graduated from West High School. He worked for Knight's Transportation as a Truck Driver. He loved music, singing, fishing and cooking. Shorty will be remembered for his story telling and outgoing personality. Preceded in death by his parents and sister, Stephanie Johnson. Survived by his children, Moneta Johnson, Alfred T. "Tabbe" Johnson IV and Anyla Johnson; mother of his children, Yvette Johnson; siblings, Monica Johnson, Arica Johnson, Eric Johnson, Steve (Laura) Johnson, Andre "Monty" (Andrea) Johnson and Andre Johnson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 10:00 am - 12 noon where funeral service will follow at 12 noon at Heart and Hope Funeral Home by Schoedinger, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
