Alice K. Forster

Alice K. Forster, age 92 of Columbus, went to be with the Lord, February 6, 2011. Alice was born and raised in Hopedale, Ohio, daughter of the late Marion and Ida Dawson. Also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Forster, and sisters, Pauline Dodds and Gladys Raber. Alice was an insightful Christian woman and the “prayer warrior” of the Forster family. She was an active resident at Oakleaf Village of Columbus and also North Church of Christ in Christian Union. She was an avid fan of O.S.U. football and basketball as well as the Cincinnati Reds. She enjoyed laughing and playing games with her great grandchildren and often prepared wonderful meals for her family. Above all else, Alice loved Jesus. She will be missed by her son, Doug (Bonnie) Forster; grandchildren, Kimberly Miller and Laurie (Brian) Niemet; and great grandchildren, Courtney and Will Miller and Jaxson Niemet. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Thursday, February 10, 2011 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday.
