Alice M. Haff

Alice M. Haff, age 90, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly, Friday June 19, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born June 14, 1925 in New York City, NY, the daughter of the late Leo and Alice (Raab) Hilgeman. Alice was a school aide at PS # 4 in Yonkers, NY for several years and retired as the administrative assistant for the Director of Development at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY following many years of service. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Peter J. Haff in 2002 and her daughter Christine Haff Prezioso in 2007. She will be dearly missed and is survived by her son, Peter J. (Pam) Haff, Jr., of Upper Sandusky, OH; granddaughters, Heather (Kevin) Albanese, Powell, OH, Melissa (Brad) Bowersock, Plain City, OH and Emily (Wayne) Rieser, Hilliard, OH; 2 great grandchildren, Olivia and Nicholas Albanese; her sister, Lucille Covell, Celebration, FL many nieces and nephews and friends. Alice loved spending time with her family, was a voracious reader and solving word search puzzles. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High St. (1/2 mile South of I-270) , where family will receive friends from 10:00.- 11:00 am Tuesday.
