Alice Jane Reed

Alice Jane Reed, age 90, passed away on May 20th, 2021 in Columbus Ohio. She was born in Delphos Ohio on June 24th, 1930 to Irma and John Mueller. Jane grew up in Delphos Ohio and always considered it her hometown. A 1948 graduate of Delphos St. John's High School. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 1952. She worked as a dietician for St. Ann's Hospital and WIC Works Resource System in Columbus, OH. On November 27, 1954 she married John Reed of Delphos. Jane was a long-time bicyclist. Jane passed away, 27 hours after her husband of 66 years, John. He was her co-tandem rider and best pal. Survived by children Julie (Mark) Greiner and Max (Amy Zierten) Reed, grandchildren Courtney (David) Kegelmayer, Dustin Greiner (Audrey Horn), Diana (Holden) Moore and Danny (Alexandra) Greiner, great-grandchildren Sailor Claire and Quinn Jane Moore and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her siblings and daughter Leila Reed.

Joint visitation to be held Sunday June 13th, 2021 at Brookside Golf and Country Club in Columbus OH from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. No formal services to be held per John's request. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity on her behalf.

Private family celebration to be held later.
