With love and great sadness we proclaim the blessed home-going of our beloved wife and mother Alice (Stallworth) Thompson. On Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in the peacefulness of her home Alice passed graciously into her Father's arms. Alice was born October 11, 1930 in Castleberry, Alabama. She was the thirteenth and youngest child of Henry Stallworth, the husband of Hattie Anderson Stallworth, Alice's mother. Alice is proceeded in death by her parents Henry and Hattie; brothers, Henry, Walter, Frank, and Charlie; sisters, Willow Cunningham, Flossie Patterson, Gayzell Anderson, Gussie Robertson, Ruby Melvin, Hazel Rushin, and Barbara Frye. Alice is survived by her husband George Thompson, daughter Kathy, son Donald (and wife Genèvieve), granddaughter Danielle, and nieces, nephews, and many friends. Family will receive friends from 10 -11 am on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. with services to follow at 11:00 am. Interment in Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
