Alicia Marie Salyers

Alicia Marie Salyers, 19, of Circleville, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015. She was born on March 23, 1995 in Columbus, Ohio. She was the pride and joy of her parents, Cheryl (Pentecost) and Tracey Salyers, who survive. Alicia was a 2013 graduate of Circleville High School where she had been a member of the DECA club during her sophomore and junior years. Some of her favorite things in life were reading, writing, drawing, doing her nails, vacationing at Cocoa Beach, watching Disney movies with her mom and surrounding herself with close friends and family. She and her friends loved going to the mall and to Hargus Lake and just cruising around listening to music.

Alicia was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Nellie and Gene Pentecost and paternal grandmother, Lucille Gable. She is survived by her parents, Cheryl and Tracey; grandfather, Paul Salyers, Sr.; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends.

And as Alicia would say to all of us, "Hakuna Matata" which, for those who aren't familiar, means "No Worries".

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Dr. Doyne Wiggins officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday, February 9th at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
