Alicia Wilburn

Alicia Bernice Wilburn was born July 23, 1977 in Petersburg, Virginia to Carole Lee and Dewey Dugger, Sr. In her early years, she grew up with Monica Battle-Clayton and David Battle, Jr. She attended school in Petersburg, Virginia and then moved to Columbus, Ohio. Alicia married Delane Wilburn and was the parents to Aireana Wilburn, Aulana Wilburn and Delaney Wilburn, the loves of her life. She worked in the healthcare field, that was her greatest passion and she also worked in finance. Alicia’s greatest love was her family. She loved to cook and gardening with her husband. She always had a heart of gold for children and the elderly. Alicia loved to make people laugh.

Alicia departed this life and transitioned with the Lord on Sunday, February 26, 2023. She is preceded in death by Grandmother and Grandfather, Poppy James Lee, Father-in-law Terry Exum, special cousin Brittni McClendon, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Alicia leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband Delane Wilburn; daughters Aireana Wilburn (Michael Satchell) and Aulana Wilburn, son Delaney Wilburn; mother Carole Lee; father Dewey Dugger; grandsons Aiden Satchell and Roman Wilburn; brothers Rodney (Juashebia) Battle, Dewey Dugger, Jr. and Colin Dugger; sister Carlita Dugger; sister-cousin Monica Battle-Clayton; mother-in-law Debra Wilburn-Exum; sister-in-law Davida (Tony) Williams; brother-in-law Justin Powell; special uncle David Battle and special aunt Marzell Battle; aunts Berenthia Callis, Margaret Sumler and Joyce Lewis; uncles Robert Battle, James Battle and Charles Battle; special friends Nikki Evans, Clea Caldwell-Sangster, Simone Smith and Jessica Flowers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
