Allen C. Alder, age 86, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after his high school graduation and retired as Chief Master Sargent with over 30 years of service. Allen enjoyed volunteering at the Buckeye Lake Museum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Margaret Alder; daughters, Kim Hanna and Lisa Cooper; faithful canine companion, Gretchen. He is survived by his devoted granddaughters, Brooke Cooper Wade, Katie (Drew) Williams and Kelsey Alder Hanna; great-grandchildren, Ella, Cohen, and Lucius. Family will receive friends 2-5 Sunday at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held 10 am Monday, December 10, 2018.
