Alta Lindberg

Alta Louise Lindberg, age 76, of Dublin, Ohio passed away on May 6, 2026. She was born on Oct. 16, 1949 in Dillion, MT to the late Tracy P. and Erma Scrimsher Sr. She joins in death her parents; siblings Bob Scrimsher, Tracy Scrimsher Jr., Florence Jernigan and Bert Scrimsher. Alta leaves behind her sister-in-law Fay Scrimsher; nieces Pameula (Willis) Springer and Christina (Brian) Derexson and nephew Lewis (Lisi) Jernigan. Also surviving are many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces’ nephews Joshua (Kara) Jernigan, April (Joe) Wolske, Jacob Springer, Austin Jernigan, Aidan Jernigan, Abriella Jernigan, Olivia Derexson, Amanda (Eric) Hudson, Scott (Misty Essex) Scrimsher, Steve (Christina) Scrimsher, Steven Scrimsher, Michael Scrimsher, Carla (David) Horton, Curtis Scrimsher, Kari Schuchard and Julie Moore. Special friend Priscilla Mills is also surviving. Alta loved crafting, card making, completing diamond dots and quilting. She had great faith in the Lord and cherished her cat, Sebastian. Visitation will be held on Friday May 29, 2026, from 10AM to 11AM at the Advantage by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204 where the funeral service will begin at 11AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Alta’s name to American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50337-0839.
