

Amy grew up in Bexley, Ohio, and graduated from Bexley High School in Columbus, Ohio in 1949. After high school she:
• attended Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio and Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
• served in the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), achieving the status of Regent.
• provided philanthropic support to several Methodist and Presbyterian churches in California, Arizona and New Mexico.
• All the while being a devoted wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma.
She married Marshall Paul Watson Jr., in 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. They were happily married for 63 years. Amy was a member of Family Motor Coach Assn. and Foretravel Motorcade Club. During her life, she enjoyed cruises and especially traveling in their RV’s. Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall P Watson Jr., her parents Walter and Marion English, her sister Rosie Yeager and sister Ellen Wiseman Julian. She is survived by her children: Linda Topf of Albuquerque, NM; Jeff(Lisa) Watson of Albuquerque, NM; Marcy(Art) Mendoza of Naperville, IL.; her grandchildren Jennifer, Jeremy, Christopher, Tyler and Cassandra; and her great-grandchildren Gavin, Vivianne and Emma. We will all miss her very much! Funeral arrangements were made through French Funerals in Albuquerque New Mexico and Schoedinger Funeral Home in Columbus, Ohio. On Saturday, July 20th a crypt-side viewing will be held at 1:30pm, with an Interment service following at 2:00pm; at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio.
