It was with great sadness that Amelie was taken from us on September 16. 2021 far too soon, after nearly 10 months of a beautiful and courageous fight. She was born four months premature on November 30, 2020 weighing 1 lb. 4 oz. and 11 inches long.
Amelie was a warrior who loved to snuggle, a fighter with a twinkle in her eyes. The depth of her gaze and spirit of determination captured the hearts of thousands around the world.
She is fiercely loved and will be greatly missed by her parents, Angie and Daniel, brothers, Hudson, Bentley, and Micah, grandparents, Karen and Steve Larimore and Lucita Bacuyani, and countless extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept 24 at 1:00 pm at Schoedinger Chapel in Worthington, with visitation beginning at 12:00. Please wear purple to the service in honor of Amelie's prematurity.
A heartfelt thank you to the NICU staff at Saint Charles Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital for caring for Amelie with such love.
If you would like to make a memorial donation, please do so to the Ronald McDonald House of Central Oregon.
Our time holding you on earth was too short, but we will hold you in our hearts until we hold you in heaven.
