Amy was born in Newark on April 3, 1979 to Edward and Deborah (Hurd) Nelson. She died Monday March 21, 2011 at Licking Memorial Hospital. She was 31.
Amy is preceded in death by her mother Deborah. She is survived by her father Ed Nelson, brothers Edward Nelson Jr. and Christopher Nelson. She was a graduate of Newark High School and loved country music, especially Randy Travis, among others.
There are no calling hours. Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to help with funeral expenses.
