Andre Andrews, 39, gained his wings on September 18, 2021, in Columbus, Ohio. His life would seem short to many, but for those close to him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Andre was born on June 26, 1982, in Camp Springs, Maryland to Garry and Bernette Andrews. He attended and graduated from Gwynn Park High School in June of 2000. Andre will be notably remembered as swimmer and musician (saxophone player). After graduating high school, he moved to California to attend college with an interest in international business. Andre dreamed of traveling all over the continent of Asia. After finishing college, Andre lived out the remainder of his life as the free spirit he has always been. Andre is survived by his sisters, Renee and Corey; brothers, Paris, Carey, and Shaunte; grandmother, Elnora; grandfather, Johnnie; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded by his mother, Bernette Andrews; father, Garry Andrews; grandmother, Joan; and grandfather, Abraham.
