

Andre Rene Imbrogno, age 45, of Columbus, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in an automobile accident due to cardiac arrest. Born in Springfield, Illinois, Andre was a 1991 graduate of Upper Arlington High School and a 1995 summa cum laude graduate of the Ohio State University College of Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, and he was inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta/Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. He received a juris doctorate degree with honors from the Ohio State University College of Law in 1999, where he was managing editor of the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution and completed internships at the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio and the Federal Judicial Center in Washington, D.C, and a judicial externship with the Honorable James L. Graham of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. At the time of his death, Andre was an attorney in the Legal Services division of the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, where he had previously served as chairman of the Ohio Parole Board. He previously worked as a legislative liaison/policy analyst for the Ohio Judicial Conference; a staff attorney for the Ohio Legislative Service Commission; an associate with Schottenstein, Zox and Dunn; and a judicial clerk to the Honorable Francis E. Sweeney of the Supreme Court of Ohio. He loved traveling with his wife and their pets to Sanibel and Captiva Islands in Florida and to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and he also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Nadia Imbrogno. He is survived by his wife, Corie Ann Marty; sister Natalie Imbrogno (widow of the late George Michael Bopp) of Westerville; sister Sandra (David) Moskowitz of Barrington, Rhode Island; aunt Grace Imbrogno of La Mesa, California; nephews and niece Nicholas, Joshua, and Anais Moskowitz of Barrington, Rhode Island; and nephews Marty and Alec Peterson of New Albany. Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, July 6, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where family will receive friends from 4-8 P.M. Thursday.
