Andrea L Jones

She attended South High School where she participated in cheerleading and track. Andrea became a member of Columbus Bible way Church with her family during the 70's. She continued to stay involved with her high school and was the cheerleading couch for over 35 years, while also working at the Marzetti Factory for 22 years. She worked her way up the company and became lead and the go to person for everyone. Andrea participated in many activities such as bingo, gambling, camping, and being a HUGE OSU Buckeye fan, which caused playful banter between her and some of her family that roots for Michigan! Andrea was very family oriented and loved being around all her siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, God children, and cousins. She loved children and always had a special relationship with them like no one else. Andrea loved singing and was apart of the choir at Columbus Bible Way Church. Andrea has a beautiful soul and will be missed deeply.

Left to cherish her memory, is her loving husband of 39 years Larry Jones; children; Marquies Mock, JaVhon Jones, Larwance (Ashley) Jones, and Andrew Jones, grandchildren; Jordan Davis, Davontae Jonas, RhiVhon Tinsley, Marquia Mock, Andrew Jones Jr. Larwance Jones Jr., Leah Jones, and Angel Person, sisters; Jean Mock, and Thelma (Dave) Davis, brothers; David (Yolanda) Mock, Tarrell (Treesje) Mock, and Joseph (Maria) Mock, a host of nieces and nephews, along with many other family and friends.

Andrea was preceded in death by her parents James and Eleanor Mock, siblings; James Mock Jr, Janet Gamble, Vanessa Jeter, Willie Mock, Done Mock, Awanna Mock, Jerome Mock and Kay Mock.

Family will receive friends Thursday, July 8th, 2021 from 10AM-11AM following a funeral service at 11AM at 2660 Rhoads Avenue, Columbus, OH 43207. Entrusted arrangements to SCHOEDINGER EAST FUNERAL HOME. Please share a special memory or send condolences to Andrea's family.
