It is with great sadness that the family of Andrew R. Gilmore, 41, of Grove City, announces his sudden passing on March 15 from a massive heart attack at Mt. Carmel Grove City. He is survived by his 5 year old son, Luca, his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Allan Rancour, his father and stepmom, Richard and Dora Gilmore, his son's mother, Jerrica Leonard and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and step brothers and step sisters and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Laura and Kenneth Bowers and Robert and Jane Gilmore. He was a graduate of Flushing High School in Flushing, Michigan and attended Eastern Michigan University. He worked for Merrill Services as a Fedex driver. Andy was the best dad. He enjoyed every minute he had with Luca. They were best buddies and always had a new movie or new game or new scheme to keep themselves entertained. Andy created laughs and smiles wherever he went. He enjoyed all sports but especially OSU football. Andy was a big-hearted caring guy who loved his son, family, friends and his work. He always had a big smile, a great sense of humor and was always the first to offer help to others. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Due to COVID-19 virus services will be for immediate family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with Luca's college expenses. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL.
