Angie Mae Toney

Angie M. Toney, age 92, was embraced in the loving arms of her Master on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. She was born in McCreary County, KY to the late William and Maggie (Williams) Hamby. Angie was a lady of great faith, and a devoted member of CrossRoads Baptist Church (formerly Columbus Baptist Temple). She retired from General Motors after 25 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Jesse P. Toney; 3 sisters and 1 brother. Angie is survived by her loving children, Linda (Ralph) Powell, Paul (Pat) Toney, Ralph Toney, Will Toney, and Bob (Marianne) Toney; daughter-in-law, Michele Toney; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Tracy) Powell, Ron Toney, Chris (Wendy) Toney, Jessica (Joe) Servick, Stacey (Chris) Sharp, Kelley Toney, and Jayme (Dixie) Clark; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and brother, Richard (Helen) Hamby. Funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, March 28, 2015 at CrossRoads Baptist Church, 5075 Cleveland Ave., Columbus, OH 43231 with visitation from 9 am to 10 am. Pastor Paul Gabriel officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CrossRoads Baptist Church.
