Anna S. Lattimer, 38, of Columbus, passed away very unexpectedly on October 6, 2018. Anna was born in Cambridge on January 18, 1980 to Fred and Roberta "Bobbi" (Winstel) Larimer, who survive her along with husband of nearly 7 years, Colin and their son Jack; sister Becca (Brian) Gronau; grandparents Bob and Susie Winstel, of Pittsburg; sisters-in-law Jessica (Thomas), Calista (Eric) and Sarah (Tim); nieces and nephews Kyla, Brynn, Max, Sam, Jacob, Austin, Sophia, and Ella; her faithful Pitbull, Teddy, who was with her until the end; as well as numerous other family and friends.
Anna was an event planner all of her life, even prior to her graduation from Granville High School and Ohio University, where she received her Bachelor degree in communications. She worked her way through college as a server, which enabled to her have a great understanding of what went into event planning for both clients and staff. She always made wonderful connections with the people in her life, whom she made happy by giving them not only what they wanted, but what they needed, and gained their trust along the way. She was a reasonable, understanding, and above all empathetic person.
Having grown up on a small farm, she worked hard from a young age and through this work, though she remained small in stature, she was mighty in strength. Her love of horseback riding and rabbit raising was only superseded by her love of arranging flowers. She was an inventive cook, an intensely devoted friend, and an absolute lover of animals of all varieties, many of which she adopted over the years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The family will hold a reception visitation at one of Anna's favorite places, Bryn Du Mansion, 537 Jones Road NE, Granville, on Thursday, October 11, 2018 from 5:30 -8:30PM. Anna loved flowers, so please feel free to send them for the reception, however, you may make memorial contributions to CHA Animal Shelter, 3765 Corporate Drive, Columbus, OH 43231 or at .
