Anna Marie Rogers

Anna Marie (Scurlock) Rogers, age 77, died Sunday August 12, 2012. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Authula Hensley; daughter, Patty Scurlock; step-daughter, Debbie; brothers, William and Russell Elkins; sister, Garnett Hall. Anna is survived by her husband Mark Rogers; brother, Irvin (Carol) Hensley; sister, Juanita (Jim Mixter) Mitchell, and nieces, nephews and friends. She retired from Famous Sportswear were she was a seamstress for over 20 years. Anna loved to make things for her relatives and friends, she loved to travel across the country and the world having traveled to Spain, Switzerland, Portugal. She was an exceptional bowler having bowled at Stardust Lanes for many years with different leagues, and a member of the Firefighters VFW #3426. Visitation will be at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday August 16, 2012 where funeral service will be held on Friday August 17 at 1pm. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to either the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation in Anna’s name.
