Anne M. Hess, age 87, of Upper Arlington, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She was born November 22, 1926 in Ringling, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Harry and Flora (Whitmore) Bennett. She is survived by her children, Connie (Charles) Abbitt, Michael (Catherine Downs) Hess, Jane (David) Ovenshire, Barbara (Steve Stewart) Hess and Sally Ezra; 5 grandchildren, Chase, Annie, Christian, Katherine and Spencer and two great granddaughters, Mary and Katherine. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank R. Hess in 2003.
