Filomena Anne Russell, age 88, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Anne was born on November 29, 1923 in Columbus to the late Anthony and Incoranata (Melfi) Spiert. She was a life-time member of Kirkersville Apostolic Church. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Russell and brothers and sisters. She is survived by her loving daughters, Linda Perry and Jane (Kenny) Carpenter; 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, Vincent Spiert, Arthur Spiert, and Anthony (Marie) Spiert; sister Mary (Walter) Ulry; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Family will receive friends 10 am to 1 pm Monday, January 9, 2012 at Kirkersville Apostolic Church, 122 E Main St.
Kirkersville, OH 43033, where the funeral service will begin at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kirkersville Apostolic Church.
