Antoinette "Annette" L. Hennen

Antoinette “Annette” L. Hennen, age 79, of Groveport, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010. She was born on April 9, 1931 in Corona, NY to the late Jack and Nettie Fererra. She was a 1949 graduate of Forest Hills High School in Forest Hills, New York and after high school was married to Carl H. Hennen on December 9, 1950. She retired from Lazarus Eastland. After 20 years of service she was a familiar face wherever she went. Annette enjoyed people and never knew a stranger. She was extremely talented at cooking and crocheting. She also enjoyed traveling, reading and trips to the casino; most importantly she loved being with her family, they were her number one priority in life. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Hennen; and sister in-law, Joan Hennen. Survivors include her children, Thomas (Sherri) Hennen, Patricia (Dan) Clemens, Terri (Dennis Hout) Hennen, John (Teresa) Hennen, and Annette (Dale) Kirk; grandchildren, Kris, Karl, Jessie (Cory), Jessica (Rob), Nina (Bill), Danielle (Joe), Lisa (Jason), Matthew, Jennica, Libby, Michael, and Sean; great grandchildren, Bo, Shelby, and Jake; sister, Theresa (Mike) DeMartis; and brother in-law, Ralph Hennen. Annette will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, always ready to cook you a wonderful Italian dish! She is going on her eternal vacation and wants everyone to celebrate her departure so please join her family and friends on Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL 5360 E. Livingston Ave. where the funeral service will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 11:30am. Pastor Steve Bulen officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens.
