Arlene A. Sands

Arlene A. Sands, age 89, passed away on Thursday, February 6. 2025 in Hilliard, Ohio. She was born on April 7, 1935 in Johnstown, PA to the late Elgene and Nordine (Krider) Ankeny. Arlene loved cats, thrift shopping, wine and chocolate. She worked for National Cash Register as an executive administrative assistant and Trinity Health System as a patient liaison at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, William Sands and stepson, William Allan Sands. She is survived by her special friends, Toni McCarty and Felicia Kepler; son, Stephen Fowler; daughter-in-law, Barbara A. Wolfe; grandsons, Owen Christian Fowler and Nathaniel Emerson Fowler; granddaughter, Hannah Grace Fowler; great-granddaughters, Cassandra Diane Fowler and Quorra Grace Tolliver; stepdaughter. Leslie Sands Messina; dear friends Klaire Kramer with whom she loved to travel with. Arlene requested no services. Her arrangements have been entrusted to Schoedinger East.
