Audrey L. Greeno

Audrey L. Greeno, 88, of Circleville, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her residence. She was born January 19, 1924 in Pickaway County, the daughter of John and Lefa Mae (Wallace) Essick. She was preceded in death by her parents: her daughter, Darlena Vaughn; grandson, Ian McNeely; and sister Virginia Baker.

Audrey retired in 1987 as a head cook with Circleville City Schools. She enjoyed art, especially drawing, painting and ceramics. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.

Audrey is survived by her husband, David Greeno, whom she married on September 13, 1959; her daughter, Christine Bost of Circleville; son, Gregory L. Greeno of Mt. Vernon; step-children, David N. (Mary) Greeno of Clarksburg and Sheryl Frank; grandchildren, Jason Greeno, Audra Bost, Nicole (Marcus) Reedy, Ryan Cade and Stephanie Grace Greeno; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 28, 2012 at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
