Austin Kirk

A Funeral Service for Austin Kirk of Thornville will be held Thursday January 5, 2012 at 12:00 PM at the Boring Sheridan Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Gill officiating. Interment will be in the Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.

Austin was born in Lancaster on October 18, 1989 to Joe and Tina (Reid) Kirk. He died Friday December 30, 2011 in Columbus. He was 22.

Austin is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Joseph H. and Daisy A. (Kerr) Kirk. He is survived by his girlfriend Katie Kruse, their daughter Kylie Violette Kirk, his father Joe (Dusty) Kirk of Thornville, mother Tina Moore of Dublin, brothers Joseph Kirk (Mandy Nihiser) of Hebron, Logan Kirk of Columbus, Kyle Kirk of Heath; sisters Kelsey Kirk of Heath and Ashley Moore of Powell; maternal grandparents Doug Reid of Lancaster and Mary Jo Rickley of Florida, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Austin loved life to its fullest, being a part of the outdoors, he loved to hunt deer in Indiana and Ohio, wild boar in Florida, and was soon to be in Maine hunting bear with his father. He fished for shark in Florida, and travelled to California, Arizona, and Mexico. He also loved to work with cars and play baseball.
