Barbara Fox

Barbara Elaine Knox Fox, age 84, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on April 5th, 2018 at Parkside Village in Westerville, Ohio. Barbara was born October 29, 1933 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to the late John and Esther (Peck) Knox. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Economics and married Naval Aviator George Alfred Fox, Jr. shortly thereafter. She was an accomplished seamstress and avid Barbie costume designer, which included detailed historical reproductions, beaded purses and hats. A devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers Jack, Ray and Brad Knox and survived by her loving husband of 61 years George A. Fox, Jr.; children, Carol Dore’, Bob (Tracy) Fox, Laura Fox, Nancy (Bruce) Spiler, Jennifer (Tim) Jackson; grandchildren, Amanda, Audrey, Joe, Nick, and Will. She is also survived by her brother, Charles (Pat) Knox and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
