Barbara Kelly

Barbara Ellen (Merritt) Kelly, age 80, of Hilliard, Ohio passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Mount Carmel West Hospital. She was born on November 17, 1930 in Erie, PA to the late William and Bessie (Miller) Merritt. She married Melvin L. Kelly on July 1, 1950. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin L. Kelly; son, Thomas L. Kelly; brothers William (Ruth) and Harold (Delores) Merritt; sisters Marge (Edward) Nyberg and Virginia (William) Ebert; grandson Vinh C. Tran (Kelly); and great grandson Austin Kennedy. Barbara is survived by her loving children, Michael (Sherri) Kelly of Galloway, OH, Timothy (Anh) Kelly of Lucas, TX, Mary Felmet of Toledo, OH and Colleen Rice of Commercial Point, OH; brothers Chuck (Jean) and Jack (Kate) Merritt; sister, Carolyn (Donald) Hough; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and wonderful friends. Friends may call from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Hilltop Schoedinger Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., where funeral services will be held immediately following calling hours. Interment at Sunset Cemetery.
