Barbara Jean Thompson, 78, of Reynoldsburg, died Friday, August 8, 2014. She was born August 21, 1935 in Farmersburg, IN to the late James and Hazel (Mahan) Flowers. She was a graduate of Farmersburg High School and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She was a devoted wife and beloved mother and will be sadly missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 2 infant sons and siblings Virginia Pittman, Rosemary Smith and Oliver Flowers. She is survived by James her loving husband of 60 years, children Mark (Lisa), Matthew, Deborah (Frank), grandchildren Joshua (Tiffany), Zachary (April), Tyler, Brooke, Morgan, Jake and Alexis, great grandchildren Chloe and Landen, many nieces and nephews. Private service will be observed by the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
