Barbara “Tootie” Sigmon Waters, age 82, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 under Zusman Hospice. She was born in Boomer, West Virginia to the late Sanford and Ernestine (Bowles) Hill. Barbara was an avid music lover. She enjoyed road trips, gardening, and riding motorcycles. Barbara worked for Olan Mills and Allied Moving and Storage. She was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, and sister. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husbands, R. Steve Sigmon, Sr. and James R. Waters. She is survived by her son R. Steve (Thelma) Sigmon, Jr.; daughters, Kim Sigmon and Denise (Bobby) Ford; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and sister, Phyllis Vickers. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Thursday, June 20th. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zusman Hospice, 1151 College Ave. Columbus, OH 43209.
