Benjamin Croom

Benjamin Croom, age 63, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 6, 1954 to Johnny Croom, Sr. and Gladys (Fielder) Croom. Ben worked for FST Logistics for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony and Timothy Croom. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Deborah Everett-Croom; children, Neil E. Croom of Columbus, Jason E. Croom of Dallas, TX, Tiffany N. Croom and Brandee M. Croom, of Columbus; brothers, William (Jerri) Croom of HI, Johnnie (Cloria) Croom, Jr. of Columbus, and Robert (Emma) Croom of AL; uncle, Earnest Croom of Buffalo, NY; five grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Ben was a believer in God. Friends may call on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 10:00AM-11:00AM followed by funeral service at 11:00AM at New Salem Baptist Church, 2956 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43224. Dr. Keith A. Troy officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, Ohio.
