Bernard J. Hoyer, age 94, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. He was born to the late Francis and Wallace Hoyer on January 26, 1917 in Beaverdale, PA. Bernard was a friendly and hard working husband, father, and friend. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with family. In addition to his parents, Bernard was preceded in death by his son, Jim Hoyer; siblings, Ruth, Genevieve, Wallace and Leo Hoyer. He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Martha Hoyer; children, Regis (Barbara) Hoyer, Mary Biddle, and Paul Hoyer; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews.
