

Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, March 21, 1927, daughter of the late Bernard R. and Winifred Wagoner.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard A. Bowersox (2002), and second son, Donald (1979).
Survived by sons Richard (Janice) of Dayton, James (Pamela) of Xenia, David (Barbara) of Hilliard and Jonathan (Laura) of Windsor, ON.
Survived also by grandchildren Elizabeth (Ryan Riddell) of Miamisburg and their sons Tine, Travis, and Titus; Brian (Alexandra) of Fairbanks, AK and their son Jackson; Grafton (Cathy) of Waynesville and their children Cooper and Addyson; Amanda and Roland of Xenia; Matthew (Kristen) of Columbus; Andrew of Ft. Meade, MD; Emily of Dallas, TX; and Anna of Hilliard.
Bernice was an alumna of Cedarville College and Wright State University, with degrees in psychology, counseling, and sociology. She was an avid reader and enjoyed music, travel, and walking the beach at Indian Shores, Florida. She prayed faithfully for her family and friends, that they would “grow in grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
Memorial service to be held at (1:00 p.m. on Friday October 26th) at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Rd, where family will receive friends following the service. Interment of ashes to follow at a later date, in Ashtabula. Arrangements by Schoedinger Northwest Chapel.
