Bernice "Mitzi" R. Brown

Bernice “Mitzi” R. Brown passed away at The Kobacker House on January 6, 2012 after being diagnosed with a brain tumor on December 8. She was born March 20, 1919 in Johannisburg, Ill. to Rosa and William Moellman.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George and her beloved son, George R. Jr. She is survived by her precious daughter, Mitzi M. (Richard) Chapman and her granddaughters, Dr. Mitzi M. (Judd) Wasden, Betsy B. (Matthew) Kippenhan, Amy E. (Matthew) Nofziger. She also leaves her great-grandchildren, Lillian and Alistair Wasden, Henry and George Kippenhan and Asher and Bennett Nofziger.

Mitzi played golf until 4 years ago with all of her friends at the Worthington Hills Country Club. She also loved to play bridge and garden. She was a member of the Northwest United Methodist Church and the Maennerchor Club. Services will be private.
