Bernice K. Cole, age 69, went home after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday September 13, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family. Berni was born on October 29, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Arthur and Bernice (Delbeke) Coapman. Berni retired as an Accountant for American Electric Power. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts including crocheting. Berni was a supporter of St. Jude Children's Hospital and a Michigan State University fan. Berni loved 4 dogs and her family. Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Bernice Coapman. Survived by her husband, Raymond E Cole Jr.; children, David Monroe, Cyndi (Kevin) Covington and Eric Cole; numerous grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Monica Liagre and Ray Coapman; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Per Berni's wishes there will be a private cremation and a memorial service held at a later date.
