Bessie Miller

Bessie "Aunt Cootie" Miller, age 93, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday March 29, 2018 under the wonderful care of the Columbus Colony Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center in Westerville after a long time battle with Alzheimer's.

Preceded in death by parents Leroy Lindsay and Mary (Scurry) Lindsay, husband Lorenzo Miller, and son Obie "Larry" Miller, 5 brothers Perry Lindsay, Odel Lindsay, Leroy "Bubba" Lindsay Jr., Joseph (JD) Lindsay, Theodore "Toe" Lindsay, and 3 sisters Fannie May Graves, Jessie Moody, Mary "Sane" Bass.

Survived by son Curtis (Cora) Miller, daughter in law Marilyn Miller, brother Willie Clinton "Bey" Lindsay, and, sister in law Mary Lindsay. Along with 6 grandchildren Eric (Niki) Miller, Michelle (Renard) Rawls, Jason (Sereta) Miller, Angela Barker, Miriam (Joshua) Green, and Michael Miller, and 9 great grandchildren, Cameron, Reagan, Mionnah, Morgan, Isabella, Jensen, Pierce, Penelope, Andreas and many loving nieces and nephews including Curtis (Elaine) Moody and Victor (Gwen) Moody, William "Tutu" Moody Jr. and Vera Moody

Employed for many years at Mount Caramel West in labor and delivery and long time, faithful member of The Church of Christ of Apostolic Faith.

Arrangements were entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL. A visitation will be held at The Church of Christ of Apostolic Faith 1200 Bretnell Ave., Columbus, OH 43219 on April 7th, 2018 from 9-10am. A funeral service will be held at 10am, followed by a procession to Union Cemetery for burial.
