

Betty Lee Best, age 71, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013. Betty was born and raised in Clintonville, West Virginia, daughter of the late William and Pansy Hundley. Also preceded in death by her brother, Waylon L. Gilkeson. Betty was a very caring and honest woman who had a heart the size of Texas. She was truly a country girl who loved the outdoors, whether she was gardening or taking care of the wildlife. She had a great sense of humor, was a wonderful cook and loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #2252. She will be greatly missed by her loving children, Tina (Mike) Sparks, Ted (Kelley) Harvey and Trina Harvey; grandchildren, Sean, Andrea, Kyle and Kaitlin Sparks and Cory and Jessica Harvey; great grandchildren, Angela Sanchez and McKenzie Sparks; brother, James (Kathy) Hundley; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and dear friends. Memorial service will be held at 6 P.M. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 4 P.M. until time of service.
