

Betty Anne (Brennning) Craig passed away August 27, 2014 at Riverside Hospital. Born September 27, 1919 in New Albany, Ohio to Carl Brenning and Anna May (Held) Brenning, Betty was the 4th of 8 children. She grew up a farm girl and graduated from the one-room school in New Albany.
She worked at Timkins and belonged to a woman's basketball league before becoming a Wife and devoted Mother. She attended St. Peters Lutheran Church. She was a great home baker and cook and became at cook at Hastings Middle School and Windermere Elementary School in Upper Arlington.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Thomas Craig, brothers Chester, Homer, and Robert Brenning and sisters Edith Hiser and Marguerite Wickhiser. She is survived by her devoted daughter Marianne (John) Royal, and sons James (Linda) Craig and Timothy (Marisa) Craig, and 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren including Michael and Erin Royal, Ian and Mackenzie Craig, Jason (Larsa) Craig and Jessica (Liam) Westbrook.
She is also survived by her loving brother Carl (Louise) Brenning and sister Ruth Alexander and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing hours from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, Tuesday at Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road in Upper Arlington, where her Funeral Service will be held at 10 am Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
