Betty Jane Dicken

DICKEN Betty Jane (Johnson) Dicken, age 89, born May 24, 1920, in Gary, Indiana (recently residing at Trillium Place), passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009. Betty was preceded in death by her first husband Charles S. Berry, and second husband Charles E. Dicken, and is survived by daughters Betty Lynn (Berry) Borel , and Debra S. (Berry) Spring , along with grandchildren Natalie L. (Borel) Chubb and Jeffrey A. Borel, and great grandchildren Abigail, Caroline, Jacob, Madison, and Emma. Betty is a retired employee of Riverside Methodist Hospital, and a long time member of North Broadway Methodist Church. A private memorial service for immediate family will be held at a later date. The family wishes to express their love and appreciation to all of Betty’s extended family, long time friends, and especially her most recent loving friends at Trillium Place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s name to her favorite foundations: Foundation Fighting Blindness, c/o FFB at 1580 S.
