Betty Marie (Sunderman) Foster

Betty Marie (Sunderman) Foster age 91, long time resident of Upper Arlington passed away November 4, 2012. Betty was born 11/4/1921 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Herbert & Marie (Rabold) Sunderman. She graduated from South High School 1939 & attended The Ohio State University.

Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband Samuel L. Foster, married 67 years and her brother Harry Sunderman. She is survived by her brother, Herbert Sunderman; daughter Connie Foster and son Jim (Judy) Foster, & granddaughters Lacy Cooper, Wendy (Brian) Mitchell and Trisha (Carlton) Estes.

Betty was a member of First Community Church, PEO Chapter BX, Columbus Gyro Club, Thea Court #5 LOSNA, OSU Alumni Club & Columbus Maennerchor. She volunteered in church, school and community activities. Betty was an avid OSU Buckeye and enjoyed golf, traveling, gardening and needle work.
