Betty Eileen Mason

Betty Eileen Mason, 88, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, went peacefully to her Heavenly home, Monday, October 10, 2016 at home. Betty was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to the late Polly and Verner Schoenberger. She graduated from Wharton High School and the Ohio State University with a degree in History Education. She spent her career raising her children, running a wonderful loving household, and as a Librarian at John the 23rd School and the Columbus Metropolitan Library. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Mason, son Steve Mason, grandchildren Christopher Epley and Hope Mason, parents Polly and Verner Schoenberger, and brother Luther Schoenberger. She is survived by children, Nancy Lentsch (John), Barbara Mason, and Thomas Mason; grandchildren, Melissa Parker (Dan), Kristine Mason, Joshua Mason; great-grandchild, Evan Parker. She was a loving, supportive wife of 63 years, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 22 from 2-4 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. at Schoedinger East Chapel, 5360 E. Livingston Avenue.
