Betty McGlone

Betty McGlone, age 93 of Columbus, passed peacefully at home Friday, February 9, 2018. Betty was born and raised in Dover, Ohio, daughter of the late Fred and Myrtle Johns. Also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Robert McGlone. Betty was a caring and compassionate woman who had a great sense of humor. She enjoyed crafts, crocheting, gardening, nature, and especially family. She was known for her delicious apple pies. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Shirley McGlone, Pat McGlone, Karen (Jerry) Miller, Kathy McGlone, Susan (Ken) Armbrust, and Mary Myklebust; grandchildren, Russ (Laura) Miller, Sarah (Ben) Eichsteadt, Eric Miller, Hannah (Federico) Badia, Caleb (Shannon), Alezah, Micah, Esther, Josiah, Judah, Emma, and Ruthann Armbrust, and Amy, Christian, and Julie Myklebust; 7 great grandchildren; extended family members and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 4-7 P.M. Friday, February 16, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M.
