

Betty J. Pennington, age 76 of Westerville, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010. Betty was born and raised in Otway, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Edna Jackson. Also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years, Donald, sister, Linda Chase, sisters-in-law, Mary Eichenlaub and Clara Daulton, brothers-in-law, Bob Doran, Dick Hill, Bob Williams, Jerry Wolford, Richard Eichenlaub, Millard, Stanley, Kenny, James Pennington, and Junior Roberts, nephew, Doug Doran, and dear friend, Bob Lawrence. Betty married the love of her life, Donald, and the two of them settled in Columbus. She enjoyed family vacations, but most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with family. Given Betty’s love for traveling, she became known as the “professional traveler.” On a recent trip with her dear friend Audrey to Arizona the two of them became known as “Thelma and Louise.” Betty worked many years in association management and retired from Gene P. King & Associates. She will be missed by her loving daughter, Denise (Bill) Kluesener; grandchildren, Katy and Garrett Donald Kluesener; siblings, Sophia Wolford, Roberta Doran, Reda Hill, John (Clara) Jackson, and Brenda Williams; brother-in-law, Wilbur Pennington; sister-in-law, Wanda Preston; best friend, Audrey Lawrence; and many other family members, dear friends and neighbors. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, June 28, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 2-6 P.M. Sunday. Rev.
