Betty Rogers Snider

Betty Rogers Snider, age 85, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013. She was born February 5, 1928 in Meigs County to the late William and Delphia Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Rogers. Betty is survived by husband, Winston Snider; children, Karen (Howard) Miller, Richard Rogers, Robert Rogers, and Janet Lawell; and grandchildren, Russell, Dallas, Evan, Ryan, Trevor, and Adam. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Betty was involved in her community through several organizations including The Columbus Area Leadership Program as Executive Director, Columbus Public Schools, Courage Inc., Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts. She also started the Hug Club of Columbus and the Comedy Club for Seniors. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, December 11 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.)
