

Betty L. Stout (William), 86, passed away on Sunday June 19, 2016. She was born November 27, 1929 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Harold Williams and Zenobia Sojka. She was an only child born during traditional times, where aspirations and roles for a woman were limited almost restrictive. Her legacy was to become a wife and mother, nurturing and supporting her family. She loved and inspired her two daughters, Vickie L. Stout and Linda K. Barber to place no limits on their dreams and goals. Betty was a supporting wife, friend and caregiver to her late husband, Donald V. Stout for 62 years. She enjoyed and loved her family, especially her only grandson, Ryan M. Barber, sisters-in-law Martha Barber, Mary Buk, Dorothy Wilson and many nieces and nephews, Carol and Gary Wilson, John and Sherry Buk, Barb and David Taylor, Marilyn and Brad Hyatt, David and Tammy Barber, Dennis and Sheri Barber, and Rebecca Barber, and Ed and Maria Barber. Betty also cherished her longtime friendships with Lois and Corey Parollina and Heather, and Krista, Julie Misunas, Carol Grimes and the congregation of St. James Lutheran Church. The family would also like to thank Fanta and Comforcare for providing care, love and friendship during Betty's various health struggles and the many well-wishing cards, visits, and phone calls from family and friends. A remembrance memorial will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. James Lutheran Church, 5660 Trabue Road, Columbus, Ohio 43228.
