Betty C. Walters

Betty C. Walters, age 76, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010. She was born January 4, 1934 in Gallipolis, OH, grew up in Henderson, WV, and was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard Walters and moved to Columbus, OH. Betty retired from Columbus Coated Fabrics in 1987. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino. She loved her family and lived for spending time with her grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Nina Colley and siblings; Jack, Tony, Buford, and Arawana. Betty will be missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard; daughter, Shari Deim; son, Rick (Amy) Walters; grandchildren, Brandon and Cody Deim and Aaron Walters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 5pm until the time of funeral service at 7pm Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH.
