Beverly A. Burk, age 78, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. She was born in Elgood, West Virginia on January 22, 1943. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance. Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Demetrius D. Burk; parents, Albert C. Smith and Lovella V. Parker; and Brother, Albert P. Smith, Jr. She is survived by her sons, Brian S. Burk, Sterling G. Burk, and Ronald L. Burk, Jr.; grandsons, Sterling G. (Chiniqua) Burk II, Dylan Burk, and Elias Burk; siblings, Kenneth (Mary) Smith, Loretta Harris, and Brenda Smith; sister in-law, Carol Smith; and many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted and faithful Jehovah’s Witness and a mother figure to Brian’s bowling family. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 12:00PM-1:00PM until time of funeral service at 1:00PM at HEART AND HOPE BY SCHOEDINGER, 2741 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43224. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
