Beverly A. Ridenbaugh

A funeral service, to celebrate the life of Beverly A. Ridenbaugh, 80 of Thornville, will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor Cory Cambell officiating. Burial will follow at Barnes Cemetery.

Beverly was born in Newark on September 30, 1930 to the late Armor and Hazel (Dudgeon) Yount. She passed away on June 28, 2011 while surrounded by her family.

Beverly enjoyed crocheting, watching QVC and cooking. She also enjoyed traveling, especially when she had the opportunity to go to Germany. Spending holidays, especially Christmas with her family was very special. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Cindy Ridenbaugh, Mary (Roger) Millward and Brett L. Ridenbaugh; granddaughters, Lori, Ann and Amber; great grandchildren, Kaylyn, Kim, Madison, Christen and Kaden; brothers, Wendall “Wimp” (Betty) Cline and William “Bill” (Ursula) Yount; sister-in-law, Jeri Yount; close friend, Kay Laudermilk; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Ridenbaugh; sons, Bruce A. Ridenbaugh and Robert K. Ridenbaugh; brother, Stewart Keith Yount; sister, Vivian McArtor; great grandson, Aaron Fogel; and best friend, Ida Byers.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00PM.
