Bill Bowers

William D. “Bill” Bowers, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on January 20, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Flora and Jim Reed; father and step-mother, Dick and Connie Bowers; brother, David Bowers; brothers-in-law, Tommy, Keneth, and Stevie Hodge. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James and Hillori Sartin and his beloved grandson, Connor, who brought so much happiness to his life! Bill is also survived by his former wife and friend, Wanda Bowers; brother, Rick (Janie) Bowers; sisters, Judy and Peggy; nephews, Art, Roger and Robbie; brothers-in-law, Roger Hodge; Teddy (Vickie) and David Hodge; sister-in-law Joyce (Jerry) Millan; numerous nieces and nephews in law; other relatives and friends. Bill will be remembered as a big teddy bear with a heart of gold. He was an OSU football fan and loved being outdoors; having spent many summer days camping in Mt. Gilead with his family. In recent years, he was happiest just spending time with Connor. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Schoedinger Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204.
