Blake Collins, 80, of Grove City, died Sunday, March 29, 2015. He was born July 7, 1934 in Mt. Sterling, OH to the late Ralph Collins and Betty (Taynor) Collins Sloop. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired thoroughbred jockey, riding throughout the United States for over 35 years. He was a past member of the Jockey's Guild. After retirement Blake could always be found with his friends at the race track and the YMCA. Blake was a loving husband, father and grandfather for 57 years. He is preceded in death by sister Regina White. He is survived by his loving wife Sandra, children Deborah (Jay) Linley, Teresa Erwin, William "Bill" (Cindy) Collins and Lori (Van) Burroughs, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and sister Shelly (Dave) Loveland.
